Tip #5
Press your lips gently together and blow out of them. Do this before singing to help your voice use less air.

Tip #4
Welcome! The next thing you need to know about singing: if you are a beginner, pay close attention to all the notes you sing before stage presence. Listen closely to how the artist sings it. Listen closely to each note you sing. Try to match your tone as you sing along with the song. This guarantees hitting the notes, unless you are truly tonedeaf. I can't help you if so.

Tip #3
Welcome! Here's a good thing you need to know: when you're singing a song, know how it's supposed to be sung. If it's emotional, don't sing it in a fun way. Also, if you are sensitive to emotional songs, don't sing one for an audition. You may feel too much emotion and forget the words, ruining the emotion. Also, if you're a fun person, sing fun songs. If you're a seriouws person, sing emiotional songs or beautiful songs. Make the song match your attitude.

Tip #2
Welcome! The next thing for singing: know how your voice sounds like. This is one of the most important parts. After some vocal excersices, record yourself singing, replay it, and look for ways you can improve. In singing, there is always room for improvement. Be truthful to yourself when you're observing. If you keep a one-sided mind, you might even get worse at singing. Once you've found ways to improve, practice, practice, practice. Record again, and look for more improvements. I'll be posting about some common mistakes in the future.
Tip #1
Welcome! The first thing you need to remember when you are singing is to practice breathing. Here is a breathing excercise. Breathe in for three seconds, hold your breath for two seconds (without lifting your shoulders) and finally try to hold "sh" for fifteen seconds or longer. This will help when you are trying to sing long notes. Practice this excercise several times before practicing singing.
